I Have a New Blog on the Occult and Magick

After more than a decade of relative spiritual and magical stagnation I have decided to pick up my occult practice again. At first I was going to incorporate this change into this Yog-Blog since I do not want to split my interests into ten different blogs and this one is nice and convenient. But now I've decided I need at least two blogs.

Long story short, I just created another blog. It will contain posts about things that are generally occult and magical. This doesn't mean posts here won't have a distinct occulty flavor, it just means the other blog will have a more general occult vibe and Yog-Sothothery will not lose its Yogjuice.

Should I Keep Making Audio Conversions?

You will notice some of the stories here on Yog-Sothothery contain text-to-speech audio conversions. Some of these audio files were found on the internet and others were made by me. I enjoy listening to the audio as I read. Do you enjoy the audio or should I stop adding them? Let me know.

The Caves of Lovecraft

I have been entering Lovecraft's works here at Yog-Sothothery one at a time and reading them as I go along. So far I have little to comment on. The Secret Cave is a bit disturbing for a juvenile author and I'm sure The Beast in the Cave upset a few people, but they are not all that exciting for me. I have noticed a pattern in the description of caves and tight, claustrophobic spaces.

Also, in The Beast in the Cave we see Lovecraft's "beast" is really MAN. You will see this again in later stories.

Yog-Sothothery Improvements

I placed a list of Lovecraft's fiction and an Amazon aStore on Yog-Sothothery and made them available through links at the top of the blog. I will be adding Lovecraft's stories to the blog one by one and linking to them in the proper places on the list.
